from anywhere, making sure you don't purchace multiple copies. You can register which items you are borrowing or renting from your friends,
making it easier to remember to return them.
What is it?
Boks is a rich interactive application that you can use to organize all your stuff,
like books, CDs, movies and more. Basically it's a way to throw everything into a box,
for storage and retrieval purposes. It will help you remember which movies, CDs and books
you have purchased, which ones you have already read, planning on reading or watching.
You can rent items out to your friends and colleagues and add an expiration date when they
have to deliver the borrowed items back.Registration of new items is really simple,
you either type the title of what you're trying to archive or scan the bar code using a webcam.
Boks will query different services for you, allowing you to find items for a variety of different
items (books, movies, albums, software, games and
in the future a lot more). Boks runs within your browser and stores all the information
in the online cloud. This means all your items are available anywhere you are connected and from many
different devices. Boks runs on Mac and PC and there is an optimized web client for iPhone and other mobiles.
You can use any standard webcam to scan the barcode of your items and the app
will recognize which product you try to add.

When is it available?
Unfortunately, Boks is not yet available. We're currently
accepting beta testers, please leave your email
address on the beta page and you will be on our list to receive an
invitation code.
